As Abaco continues to heal itself post-Dorian, our team has worked tirelessly to source the top local ingredients grown directly on Abaco. 60 - 70% of our fresh produce is grown locally from hydroponic farms, and our seafood is sourced directly from the waters surrounding us. The poultry we serve is sourced from a local farmer, and although in the early stages, our mini herb and vegetable garden assists our Chefs with selected meals. We have a wonderfully curated wine list with only the best selections on hand. Our cellars have been stocked by passionate wine consumers who truly understand the importance of needing the perfect glass of wine to complement a great meal. Your hosts will be glad to assist you with your wine selection. Our newly constructed bar is well-stocked and has a variety of liqueurs, tequilas, whiskeys, bourbons, vodkas, and gins to celebrate the day's catches and stories. Our boats are suited to fish the Marls, Cherokee Sound, Sandy Point, Snake Cay, and various other areas. Although The Bahamas is famous for bonefish, we pride ourselves in not being one-dimensional regarding the species we target. In contrast, the white-sand flats at Cherokee Sound on the eastern side allow our guests to get out of the skiff and spend time wading. With the right conditions, fishing off the Club’s beach for bonefish and triggerfish can also be great fishing. Sandy Point offers a highly diverse range of flats and species on the island's Southern Side. Our guides are comfortable with experienced anglers and anglers who will be casting a fly rod for the first time. Your average day will begin with breakfast at 7:00 am, and you will meet your guides from 7:45 am - 8:00 am. You can expect to be on the water from 8:15 - 8:30 am (location dependant), and the last casts will be called at around 4:00 pm. We have a small, fully stocked fly shop on location and a range of premium rental equipment available. We have a range of Orvis, Shilton, and Hatch reels for rental, as well as Orvis Helios 3D and T&T Exocet rods in 8s and 10s. Unlike most other outfitters, we rent fly lines, too, and have an extensive range of Rio, Scientific Anglers, and Cortland products. Our on-site fly shop is fully stocked with flies and leader material (Scientific Anglers and Seaguar). We also offer apparel and gear from all the premium brands, including Patagonia, Free Fly, Costa, Abel, Yeti, Fishpond, AFTCO, and Poncho. Please bear in mind that we do not have any wading boots available in our shop.
