Happy Hencheys 2
Dec 16th: As a postcript to the last entry, James Henchey went on to set a new Club record for the number of bonefish caught by an individual in a week. With a total of 106 bones to his own rod, including his 8-pounder, he comfortably surpassed the previous high. Despite being rained off on the first day, his personal daily catches were 0, 14, 6, 33*, 12, 15, 26*, with the starred days being when he fished solo without his father sharing the boat time. He modestly attributes his success to the “vast number of fish seen by us this year” and added that “a really good angler woud have caught a lot more”.
